You wouldn't buy a $10,000 vintage Fender Stratocaster, the hot rod of guitars, and pluck away at it hoping to make beautiful rock and roll. You'd take a few lessons, wouldn't you? The same goes for motocross bikes. A motocross bike is the most technically advanced motorized vehicle available for public consumption yet many riders have never been professionally trained or certified to operate one let alone race it!
Jimmy Mac signed-up for the Suzuki School of Motocross in 1978. The week of his school it rained so hard that the school was canceled. He was never able to reschedule. The Mac still blames his entire lousy career on missing that school. Dont let this happen to you. The following are schools specializing in training riders (experienced and inexperienced) to win at motocross.
TONY D MOTOCROSS SEMINARS
Tony DiStefano will always be remembered as the CZ privateer who almost beat the factories guys in the 1974 500 Nationals only to become a factory guy himself and win three 250 National Championships for Suzuki. Tonys school is a traveling road show coming to a track near you. He has been in the motocross training business over twenty years and is considered the best.
